Grading is offered quarterly (every 3 months). Eligibility depends on current rank and student readiness.
How soon can I get a black belt/Sash?
With diligent effort and consistent training, a student should be eligible to apply for black sash testing in 3.5 years on average. With that being said, while we understand the cultural significance of what such a rank has come to mean, we still believe that this degree, and all subsequent degrees should be earned, not given away. If the student is sincere and put in the requisite amount of effort the results will speak for itself.

A series of 3-6 lessons are provided each week for each sash rank covering all of the components of our system. Students study the course material at their own pace, and have the option to participate in the live-stream sessions which is a general skill building class suitable for all ranks. The live-stream classes provide an additional opportunity to request feedback on material the student is working on. We also provide students with bonus content that supports their Kung Fu training, this material resides outside of our graded curriculum and is released periodically. We have a robust feedback mechanism which allows students to upload their own videos for instructor review or ask questions.
